The first Members’ night of the season is on the theme of Reflections.

Our only shared Zoom talk of the season with our friends at Durham PS is by Nigel Forster, who is based at Talybont on Usk in the Brecon Beacons.

With a background in landscape and urban design, it’s his urban photography that’s the subject of this talk.

Jeremy Malley-Smith’s photography spans subjects ranging from rugby league through bands including Blackmores Night and Deeper Purple to birds in Botswana.

Next spring and summer he’ll be leading residential workshops in a remote forest on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.

It charts the struggles of everyday life as young people move away to larger towns and cities.
